The Verano Collection was born from mornings in Positano, where warm light spills across pastel rooftops, espresso cups clink on tiny balconies, and the sound of the sea echoes against the cliffs.

If you ever find yourself wandering Positano, here’s how we’d spend four unforgettable days, the Basil way.
Day 1: Arrival and Aperitivo with a View
Check into Hotel Palazzo Murat, a hidden garden oasis in the heart of town. The rooms are filled with bougainvillea, antique tiles, and the scent of jasmine drifting through open windows.
Once you’ve settled in, stroll down to Franco’s Bar just before sunset. It’s the locals’ favorite aperitivo spot with the best view in Positano. Order a Limoncello Spritz and watch the cliffs turn gold as the sun begins to set.
Dinner at Da Vincenzo is the perfect first night choice. It’s family-run, welcoming, and filled with regulars who return year after year. Try the homemade scialatielli pasta with lemon and shrimp.
Day 2: Morning Swims and Hidden Beaches
Start early at Fornillo Beach, Positano’s quieter side. Walk the cliff path from Spiaggia Grande, about ten minutes, and you’ll find a serene strip of coastline dotted with colorful umbrellas.
Rent a lounger at Da Ferdinando Beach Club, where you can order grilled octopus, melon prosciutto plates, and icy spritzes delivered to your chair.
By noon, take a private boat with Lucibello Tours to explore hidden coves along the Amalfi Coast. Ask your captain to stop at Arienzo Beach, known locally as “300 Steps Beach,” where turquoise water meets a small, relaxed bar serving fresh seafood pasta.

Stop to swim near Li Galli Islands, said to have inspired the myth of the Sirens, before docking at Conca del Sogno, a chic seaside restaurant and beach club carved into the cliffs.
Order the zucchini pasta, one of the most famous dishes on the coast, followed by a dip in the clear water below your table. Spend the afternoon sunbathing on their striped loungers with a glass of white wine from the Amalfi hills.
Head back to Positano in time for blue hour, that dreamy window when the sky deepens, the water glows, and the village lights begin to sparkle.
Dinner can wait; grab a gelato from Buca di Bacco and wander instead.
Day 4: Slow Mornings and Lemon Groves
Spend your final morning in Positano slowly. Walk up to Casa e Bottega for a nourishing breakfast bowl and a fresh juice made from local citrus.
Afterward, visit Il Sentiero degli Dei (The Path of the Gods) if you crave a bit of movement. The hike begins in nearby Nocelle, just 15 minutes by car, and offers some of the most breathtaking views on the coast. Go early and bring water; it’s worth every step.
Before you leave, stop at Ceramica Assunta, a handcrafted pottery studio that has been creating artisan ceramics since 1948. Each piece is hand-painted in the traditional Positano style. Choose a small ceramic bowl or tile as a keepsake, something to remind you of the trip that inspired the Verano Collection.
